Hey there. I am the author of six novels Ordinary Gods and Monsters, The Diplomat, City of Crows, Cairo, Bereft and The Low Road, as well as numerous short stories and occasional reviews and essays. My first short story collection, A Lovely and Terrible Thing, was published in 2019.
In addition to this, my short fiction has been published in literary journals such as Granta, Meanjin and Griffith Review and has won or been shortlisted for numerous prizes, including the International BBC Short Story Prize and The Josephine Ulrick Literature Prize.
